LED Escape Route Lights According to Standards for Commercial and Industrial Applications

The lighting of escape and rescue routes is regulated by European standards EN 50172:2005 and EN 1838:2019. These standards specify, among other things, that escape route lights must be placed at least two meters above the floor and be visible from both sides. Furthermore, exit doors, stairs, changes in height or direction, first aid kits, and fire alarm points must be no more than two meters away from the LED escape route lights. Additionally, minimum illuminance levels and the ratio between minimum and maximum illuminance must be observed to avoid confusion in emergencies.

LED Escape Route Lights with Battery and Automatic Function Test

Two of our linear lights used in offices, halls, or corridors as basic lighting are additionally equipped with a emergency lighting function. An integrated battery ensures basic illumination in an emergency. The LED Linear Light Professional (Art.-No.: 113565) allows battery operation with 600 lumens for three hours. After 300 charging cycles, the battery still provides 80% of its capacity (=300 power outages).

LED Emergency Battery Module for LED Panels – Office Lighting in Emergencies

The emergency battery module 200-240V AC | 15W IP20 (Art.-No.: 114377) is a plug-and-play module that can be used in combination with ISOLED® Business, Professional, UGR<16, and DECO-Line panels. These panels can thus be operated for three hours in an emergency.
