LED interior lighting

Product protection ratings (IP codes) indicate how well they are protected against contact, dust, and water: at least IP20 protects against touching live parts; IP42 additionally prevents insects from entering; from IP54 suitable for installation on unprotected exterior walls; IP67 dust-tight, short-term immersion up to 1 m for 30 minutes; IP68 dust-tight, longer and deeper water exposure possible. ISOLED specifies IP68 only for permanently at least 1 m deep applications.

ISOLED lights have luminous efficacies from 50 to 240 lm/W and energy efficiency classes from A to G. The EU energy efficiency index (EEI ≤1.00) ensures that the ratio of luminous flux to power consumption meets the limits. High-performance items achieve over 200 lm/W and are suitable for battery operation or energy-optimized applications. CRI and efficiency must be balanced in lower-cost versions. The EEI compares measured power to the maximum allowed reference power.

ISOLED grants a minimum 2-year warranty, many products 3–5 years, and up to 10 years on request. The warranty applies to normal use. For non-standard use, valid only if reported and confirmed in writing. For discontinued items, ISOLED provides equivalent or higher-value successor models in 99 % of cases. Spare parts are accordingly available.

ISOLED has high stock capacity; backorders are fulfilled promptly. Custom orders are possible and can be arranged quickly via air freight or cost-effectively via sea freight.

Effort depends on the IP protection rating. Low protection ratings (IP20–IP33) are easier to access but require more frequent cleaning. From IP44, occasional wiping is sufficient; from IP65 nearly maintenance-free, but access is restricted due to seals. Surfaces can be cleaned with standard cleaning agents and lint-free cloths; do not use microfiber cloths on covers.

Many products have integrated battery packs or can be retrofitted. They provide up to 3 hours of basic lighting during a power failure. ISOLED tests selected lights for AC/DC capability for central battery systems.

Each delivery comes from a single production batch, ensuring color consistency within that batch. Follow-up orders may come from different batches. Framework agreements allow consistent batches to be kept in stock for repeated orders.
