Surface-mounted lights, or also called flush-mounted lights, are fixtures that do not disappear into the ceiling or wall but are intentionally visible, making them a design element in offices, kitchens, living rooms, or hotel lobbies. A major advantage is their simple and non-invasive installation. For example, in a rental apartment where cutting openings is not allowed, or due to building constraints, integrating light elements might not be possible – this is where LED surface-mounted lights are ideal.

What is the difference between LED surface-mounted lights, ceiling-mounted lights, or ceiling lights?

The terminology varies depending on the manufacturer or supplier. LED surface-mounted/flush-mounted lights can be understood as the general term for LED ceiling and wall-mounted lights. LED ceiling lights usually refer to typically round or square panels used for general illumination. LED ceiling-mounted lights, on the other hand, are usually smaller, elongated fixtures, e.g., with GU10 sockets, that can be used as accent lighting or general lighting. Examples include multi-headed and/or adjustable ceiling spotlights.

LED Wall-Mounted Lights for Indoor and Outdoor Use

Our LED wall-mounted lights are universally applicable – as general or accent lighting and for indoor or outdoor use. For example, the LED wall light in stainless steel IP44 with PIR motion sensor is perfect for illuminating a path along a house wall. In contrast, our switchable wall lights in black and white, excl. GU10 socket, can be used as reading lamps. Newly added is our black reading lamp, which combines two functions in one solution: reading light with practical USB charging function.

Many of the wall lights with different shapes and up & down lighting can be applied particularly creatively. LED wall lights with IP54 protection can be optimally used as accent lighting on exterior walls. Others, due to their modern design, are better suited as wall lighting in corridors of corporate buildings, hotels, or restaurants.
